Jake has been a journeyman carpenter with 30 years experience. He specializes in in structural reconstruction, and has 10 years of customer service experience prior to starting Character Renovations. He has extensive knowledge and experience with construction and service. He loves to problem solve and create solutions to enhance the design.

Laura Vandervelde

Interior Designer //

Laura was an elementary teacher and went back to school and received her Residential Interiors Certificate from UofA. She loves to create floor plans and kitchen designs. She partners with the client to create timeless and balanced design choices. She has 14 years of experience in the design industry, and is constantly educating herself and keeping up to date with the latest products and practises.
